Distilleerderij Montebello bevindt zich op de Basse-Terre van Guadeloupe en werd opgericht in 1930 doord e familie Marsolle..  Typisch voor Montebello is dat de rumvaten (ex-bourbon) in gerecycleerde schipcontainers worden bewaard.  Hierdoor werkt de hitte en vochtigheid nog meer in op de vaten waardoor Montebello zijn unieke smaak bekomt.
