A batch of six hogsheads from Benrinnes was used to create this single malt, distilled in 2007 and aged for more than 13 years.
An interesting marriage of sweet and savoury, this whisky is a tipple well-suited to drizzly days spent strolling on a hillside.

Tasting notes
N O S E
We are treated to an opening of stroopwafel, accompanied by
the sweet richness of coconut milk and a helping of crushed
cinnamon sticks. Gradually, the aromas move from sweet to
savoury, with a slightly saline tanginess akin to Comté cheese.
P A L A T E
A creamy quality emerges - that of butterscotch sauce –
melding with an oily texture which accentuates herbal notes
of rosemary and sage. Again, the sweet-yet-savoury quality
evident on the nose appears, with a helping of caramelized
red onion chutney smattered with buttery cashews.
F I N I S H
A warm finish accented by the lightness of sugar syrup and
nutmeg, sprinkled on a fruit salad. Some crushed peppercorn
stays on with a fennel accent.
